Note	This centennial book traces its deep origins and vigorous flow in time, its ebb and tide, twists and turns as well as the storms and calm, and the certain triumph of Faith and Hope through the intercession of its titular patroness, Our Lady of Good Counsel. The moving history of CBC parallels not only the saga of Pasig and its legendary river, but also the general development and vicissitudes of Philippine educational institutions in the twentieth century. And the beginning an elementary school, it established during the Great Depression a coeducational high school in 1933 which lasted for sixty-one years. It remained open during the Japanese Occupation. At the close of the war, its main building was demolished by American bombing. A bold reconstruction period soon followed. In the 60s and 70s, the surge in student population spurred a series of modern building programs and the vast improvement of the educational system and facilities. With the closure of the high school department in 1994, CBC has remained a coeducational pre-school and elementary school. It re-opened its high school in 2010.
