The purpose of this study is to survey and compare fringe benefits in certain leading financial institutions and corporations of the Philippine Government as well as to compare these benefits with those granted in the regular departments and bureaus of the government. More specifically, this study will attempt to answer the following questions: (1) what are the universally accepted philosophies and principles governing fringe benefits? (2) What are the fringe benefits granted in the government financial institutions and corporations? (3) How do the fringe benefits in each corporation compare with those in the others? and (4) How many policies of fringe benefits in the entire civil service be improved?
