This study focuses on the factors influencing such non-education graduates to shift to the teaching profession. These non-education graduates who are now full-time faculty members come from seven (7) selected PAASCU (Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities) and PACUCOA (Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation) accredited private universities in Metro Manila. Data was gathered from randomly selected respondents through the use of questionnaire. Internal factors were inferred as exerting the greatest influence on the respondents' decision to career shift to teaching.
