This study is conducted to see the effects of vision therapy in helping adolescent gays explore their visions and goals in life, clarify their values and belief system and work towards developing a more meaningful existence. Thirty participants were selected purposively and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. Fifteen of them were subjected to vision therapy sessions on goal setting, creative visualization, cognitive disputation, values clarification and positive self-affirmation whereas the other half were simply given lecture sessions on personality development. The result indicated its effectiveness and applicability on the subjects, especially when the experimental group had an increased level of self-esteem and meaning in life after the application of vision therapy as manifested in their post test scores.
