This paper aims to identify the management needs of the private educational institutions offering vocational-technical courses in the Philippines, particularly in the National Capital Region by providing realistic data regarding the characteristics of the private educational institutions offering vocational-technical courses in the National Capital Region. The study is limited by its setting in the National Capital Region. Data was gathered through the use of surveys. The participants of this study are heads and other officials of the chosen schools. In conclusion, the paper states that a majority of the vocational-technical schools are non-sectarian and offer only opportunity courses of short duration without academic transfer credit to higher levels of education.
