This paper aimed to examine and analyze the prevailing public relations practices among selected colleges and universities in the Greater Manila Area with the aim of evaluating these practices based on prevalence and effectiveness. The needed data were gathered through the use of a survey questionnaire and personal interview. On the basis of the set-up and funding of the public relations program in the participating institutions, it was concluded that educational institutions do not have much interest in public relations or devote interest compared with the schools in the United States.
