The descriptive research method, specifically a qualitative research technique was used in this research since the study intended to generate data that will describe the market trends of two-way radio dealership. A total of thrity-two dealers who agreed to participate in the survey were chosen using purposive sampling technique. Questionnaires, unstructured interviews and review of documents were used to gather data. Results show that the demand for conventional two-way radios is still at its moderate/average stage. This includes the extent of the number of current users and prospective users of conventional two-way radios. Current users of conventional two-way radios are entities that are involved with security and safety such as security agencies, land transportation companies, public safety (i.e. fire, police, paramedic teams and hospital ambulances) and local government units. Findings confirmed that the cellular phone, among other wireless communication equipment, has affected the demand and sale of conventional two-way radios to a great extent.
