This paper aims to provide implications for the Philippine educational system in the form of comparison, suggestion, analysis, and inference. The paper is divided in to two parts. The first part gives detailed information about the German compulsory vocational courses. The second part gives detailed information about the Philippine counterpart of the German compulsory vocational courses. In conclusion, the paper states that the foundation of effective vocational training rests on a sound mental disposition towards work, and to create this desirable attitude is one of the main problems in the Philippines, because it depends on the economic development of the country and the happiness of the nation.
