The study seeks to provide baseline data on rural women in home-based microenterprises in Teresa, Rizal. It also identifies the benefits derived from business, as well as the common problems they encountered in pursuit of their entrepreneurial activities. The study also determines the types of assistance needed by the rural women to improve their standard of living. The proponent utilized the descriptive method in the study. Random probability sampling technique was used in selecting the respondents. Teresa, Rizal, a third class municipality, approximately 32 kilometers from the City of Manila was chosen as the sample area. Forty-one respondents, all engaged in home-based microenterprise, were chosen as respondents.
