This intellectual work is devoted largely to an analysis of the General Assembly, the Security Council, and the Secretariat or the so- called political organs of the United Nations. The work includes discussion of the early part of the 22nd Regular Session of the General Assembly, particularly the election of Mr. Corneliu Meneseu of Romania, as the first socialist President of the General Assembly. This analytical study acquaints the reader with the a structure, composition, functions and powers, procedures, and other related aspects of the “political organs” of the United Nations.
