Regional Development in the Philippines has been a strategy and thrust for national development. A a strategy, it is viewed as a means to enhance the over-all economic growth of the country. This study focuses on the impacts of selected determinants to regional gross domestic products of the Philippines (RGDP), namely: NCR, CAR and regions 1 to 12. It presents an economic analysis of the performance made by the aforementioned regions and the contribution of selected determinants (labor and family expenditures). These variables have complete list of data from 1988 to 2000. The data were deflated to 1985 constant prices and adjusted to regional effects of price (Consumer Price Index). Backward elimination process was selected as it gives the better solution to the objectives of the study for determining predictors of RGDP throughout the 14 regions
