This study seeks to analyze the impact of current agricultural models on the lives of their member-beneficiaries in the 2nd district of the province of Bulacan from the year 1995 to 1999. The study seeks to answer questions like: (1) How congruent are the assessments made by the respondent cooperatives' officers and members on the actions taken by cooperatives to make the cooperative products/services competitive with those of the other traders? and (2) With the conditions respondent cooperatives are in, what model may be adopted to make current agricultural cooperatives effective vehicles for livelihood alleviation?
