Abstract	There was practically a guerrilla organization in every province all over the country during the Japanese occupation. Guerrilla movements played a very important role in the Philippine history for the preservation of democracy. But it is disheartening to note, however, that even after two decades nothing much has been written about Philippine guerrillas. It is therefore, the aim of this study to help fill in that enormous historical gap in those most trying years of the Filipinos. The Antique guerrilla, being one of the most militant and active underground movements in the Philippines, would certainly contribute to the forming of a body of literature for the Philipinne history. This study also includes a brief history of Antique from 1942 to 1945. The narration, however, extends far beyond the stated inclusive date. a map of the province is enclosed for its physical coverage.
