Abstract	The study aims to examine and analyze the relative performance and efficiency of electric cooperatives in the Philippines for the period of 1999 to 2003. Specifically, this study has four major objectives: (1) to determine the ranking or extent of productive performance of electric cooperatives as to classification, regional relative performance, and industry or aggregate performance; (2) to analyze and compare the efficiency and productivity performance annually of Electric Cooperatives of the Philippines based on their classifications, regional and industry groupings; (3) to determine the main factors for improved/deteriorating Total Factor Productivity performance of Electric Cooperatives in the Philippines; and (4) to determine the positive/negative factors for Technical Efficiency performance of Electric Cooperatives in the Philippines.
