Abstract	This study aims to trace the history of the Philippine-Indonesian relations and the impacts of such relations in forging social, political and economic cooperation between these two countries among countries in Southeast Asia. It circumscribed only the conditions, phenomena and happenings which involved Indonesia and Philippine relations in the political aspects. It covers the historical period from the start of the relations to the present and a projection of the future on the basis of available past and present data. Data were gathered largely from original documents and publications and from authoritative people. Findings and projections were constrained by the availability of documents and materials on Indonesia-Philippine relations.
