This study is a descriptive research that sought to determine the image of the government as employer as perceived by Information Technology professionals - government employees, private employees and students who responded to questionnaires. The study revealed that the image of the government as an IT employer is far from the ideal because the ratings given by the survey groups were either negative or low positive. The three groups of respondents differed significantly in their perceptions of the government's image. All three groups gave the government their highest positive mark on the factors of public exposure and job security and the lowest to compensation and physical working conditions.
