The purpose of this study is to discuss the various and multifarious problems that confront the adolescent and to advance remedies that would help solve the problems. It has been divided into two parts: Part I, which discusses the problems that confront the Filipino youth in this modern age; and Part II, which enumerates the proposed solutions to the problems discussed in Part I. The seminar and descriptive analytical methods have been employed as well as some procedures under the normative survey method, such as interview appraisal and observational procedures. It was found out that the problems that confront the youth are as multifarious as they are varied and diversified and to keep up up with the fast pace of progress, they must undergo a revolutionary change; not a synthetic change but a truly purifying change for the better, scientifically and methodically planned, with their parents, the school, the church, the state and society as a whole as active causal agents.
