If the colleges and universities are to survive in the troubled years ahead, strategic planning is essential. Thus, the study sought to describe, analyze and interpret the status of the OP-Siena tertiary schools in the Philippines in relation to the dependent variables-components such as vision, mission, goals and objectives, curriculum and instruction, organizational structure and governance, staff management, sources of revenue and budgeting, and external constituencies and stakeholders as influenced by the independent variable-hallmarks of survival such as excellence, productivity, relevance, flexibility, cost-effectiveness and school image. The study concluded with the formulation of the survival strategic management plan.
