Note	The UST Library has two copies. One copy is in fair condition, with some torn pages and very brittle. The second copy is in very poor condition, with pages damaged by insects. It has a handwritten dedication of the author to Fr. Arias to give it to the librarian of the University of Santo Tomas. Signed, Madrid, Agosto, 1890. Vignettes are found in some pages. Each includes a table of contents.
Summary	This is Volume I of a series entitled Folletos Filipinos (Philippine pamphlets). It has a lengthy prologue by the same author addressed to the Spanish readers, with the promise to write other books, refuting several propaganda topics. This is followed by a list of Obras Consultadas or bibliography.
