Content	A very short sermon aimed to encourage the people of Pampanga to support the city of Manila after the earthquake of 3rd June 1863. The author arrived in the Philippines in 1845 and was sent to the parishes of Culiat, Minalin and Arayat, in Pampanga. He published many articles in the newspapers of Manila, especially La Oceanía, under the pseudonym El cojo de Arayat (“The cripple of Arayat”).
