Content	This is the continuation of the Jesuit chronicles by Chirino and Colín. A masterwork of erudition and precious information, it deals with the events in the Philippines between 1616 and 1716. His style is narrative, devoting much attention to civil matters. Divided into four books, 1) History of the Philippines; 2) Conquest and missions in Mindanao; 3) History of Philippines; 4) Conquest of Mariana Islands and discovery of Palau. Unlike Colín’s work, it has not been republished since, despite its rarity and value for the history of the Philippines.
